A new team is brought in to handle a potential dangerous case. A recent murder in Manhattan, Upper West Side has caused quite a stir in the local community. The victim, Monica Blake, a woman in her mid thirties was brutally murdered in her apartment, near the All Angels' Church. The FBI is investigating this as a possible murder of the infamous satanic serial killer that has ritualistically killed another six people, even if local authorities dismiss their concerns.

The new team with the lead investigator Taylor Reid and his partner Riley Connor have been brought from the 20th Precinct, even though this case is in the jurisdiction of the 24th. This collaboration serves two purposes: one is to have a second pair of fresh eyes on the case, due to it's severity people at the top want it gone as quickly as possible, two is to hopefully keep the FBI from getting too involved, as the current corruption scandals don't need more federal attention.

When looking over the evidence, the murder site was quite messy. A ritualistic symbol was drawn on the wall, as the victim was found hanging from the ceiling upside down, her throat and wrists cut, as blood was clearly collected from her. Other than the knife, which was used in the affair there was found, forensics found a geode and children's doll covered in blood. No signs of forced entry were uncovered, but inside sings of a struggle were present. The current theory is that she was strangled and knocked unconscious before the ritual killing.

As disaster almost struck again, as someone wanted the evidence for the case "lost", the detectives were able to catch those who stole it and recover the objects. Meanwhile, the local pastor in the community where Monica died has done his best to attempt to keep spirits calm, as people's gossip and fears are running dangerously out of control.

As Taylor handed over the investigation to Matthew Anderson and the FBI, a small wave was sent across the NYPD and other organizations. Corruption and negligence exposed across two precincts in Manhattan, as well as potential connections to the Mob between important figures within the local administration. This mostly covered the gross case of misconduct done by detective Riley Connor as her ties with local corrupt elements were exposed, even if compared to others it was small fry.

After linking the death of Monica Blake to the rest of the Soul Killer victims, in about two weeks the FBI managed to track down and arrest Sean Hayes, as he plead guilty to all ten charges of murder.

Unfortunaly the case was reopened on 21st of December, less than a month later as a new victim was found murdered. The young woman was found killed in a similar fashion to the others, what shocked the news even more is that the victim was one of the two NYPD detectives that worked on the case, Riley Connor.

As the police found several more victims, the situation worsened. Several members of the All Angels' Church ended up dead in a ritual that caused a lunar eclipse summoning another powerful entity into the world.

Alongside this the Bratva is preparing itself for a full out war on the streets of New York against the Mob, Cosa Nostra and 'Ndrangheta despite Radmir's best efforts. Ian Wilson took the side of the Italians and Americans, forging a pact with the police to try and deal with the lunatic that the Russians are protecting. The powder keg has been set aflame as another threat was levied against the FBI's forensic informant Ian Bright, making it only a matter of time until it blows up.

After the recent events with the new ritualistic killings, the Bratva is preparing for open hostilities against the Mob, Cosa Nostra and 'Ndrangheta. The coalition formed by the three clans plans to completely eliminate all Russian influence in the city as they're trying to protect Alexandra from the fallout of her actions.

Backing the Italians and Americans are the NYPD with Taylor acting as the middle man between the two groups. Wilson has also thrown his support behind them, putting many of his assets to their disposal. 

As the holidays passed, father Carver proposed and managed to set up several safe areas that after a short conversation, all factions agree to never hit. Churches, hospitals and schools were designated as off limits, providing safe havens for civilians in the days to come.

Father James also set up a free clinic for Adam near his own church, being one of the first free illegal clinics that are equipped to handle injuries of any kind.

As Ian gets more involved with Quipu's schemes, he meets Matthew Walsh a local conspiracy theorist which prepares to help him expose the secret behind Alaric's laboratory and the existence of these "demonic" beings.

With the help of Karen, Ian is able to make another broadcast before he gets caught by James and Taylor working together. After Wade executes the insane man, Taylor brings him into the conspiracy as they recover the advanced radio tech left behind by Nox.

A new wave of copy cats, paranoid conspiracy theorists and other dangerous individuals rise as Ian's messaging reaches out to the corners of society, despite the best efforts of the Stone, signaling the start of a new information wars era.
