The Realm of Water, also called the Plane of Water, was one of the Elemental Realms of the Cosmic Wheel. It had no shallows or depths, or surface, only endless ocean unaffected by gravitational forces; all varieties of water were constantly in motion of their own, influenced by currents and tides. The plane had no sun, yet the water itself seemed to glow dimly with a bluish green luminescence.
The teeming life of this plane was supported by the corals and plants that found purchase here, and huge reefbeds were home to myriad species of fish and other life. The Plane had no limit to the size of its fauna, provided they were hearty enough to survive the currents, tidal bores, and flows of ice, steam, and silt that could overcome the landscape at any moment.
