Commonly referred to as "Ilios of the Lasting Blue", Ilios was believed the gentler places of Ostmyr. He was known as the god of calm skies, fertile lands, and still waters. Ilios represented the cooperative aspect of nature, which sought to grow and sustain its own existence according to natural law. Reflecting this, his symbol was a gently cascading waterfall, bound within a circular order and feeding the rivers of life.
Considered by his followers to be a provider of safety and abundance, Ilios was the patron deity of many lawfully-aligned smallfolk. His acolytes were often found in large urban centers, peaceful groves, and lakeside towns. Due to his perceived care for Humanity and other smallfolk, his symbol was often regarded favorably compared to his brother, Elteos.
Worshippers of Ilios claimed that followers of Elteos were hypocritical, and often clashed with them. They believed that Elteos' adherence to the chaos of nature could never result in a structure that benefited life, and would only ever result in the strong dominating the weak. Ilios' trend to law meant that strength had to be required through fidelity, which were qualities that his followers valued above all else.
