A broom of animated attack was a type of Animated Object, imbued with transmutative magic designating it took defend a particular area. Easily mistaken for a Broom of Flying, it attacked any creature that grabbed it, and would continue to do so until physically destroyed or until reaching the terminus of the area designated by its creator.
