Atop a slight rise in the northwest edge of the Village of Barovia, the church stood against the pillar stone that supported Castle Ravenloft thousands of feet above. A bell tower rose from the back of the building, unused in some time. This church weathered the assaults of evil for centuries on end, providing slim solace for the people of the village, and was always lived in by its leader, such as Father Stefan Donavich.
The cemetery behind the building was a rectangular plot of land, quiet and tightly packed with gravestones. The graveyard was unusually large for a village of its size, and was rumored to house the spirits of damned travelers who wronged Strahd von Zarovich.
