Crows were highly intelligent birds common in a variety of habitats throughout many worlds and biomes, thought to be smaller cousins of Ravens. A cunning and adaptable bird, these dark-feathered creatures were known for their intelligence and resourcefulness, traits that made them both revered and feared by those who encountered them. Crows were adept at scavenging and could often be found in places where food scraps or valuables could be easily pilfered.

These birds were known to remember faces and hold grudges. This information would spread through their flocks, collectively called "murders". Their distinctive caws and keen eyesight made them effective sentinels and messengers in certain magical circles or among secretive guilds. Though not inherently magical, crows often appeared in stories as symbols of cunning, mystery, or even as agents of fate.
