A beast was a non-magical, naturally occurring type of creature that existed throughout the Material Realm. By far the most abundant type of creature, they ranged widely in size and shape, from small, innocuous animals to formidable predators. Beasts inhabited various terrains, including forests, mountains, deserts, and oceans, each adapted to their specific environment. They often played significant roles in the ecosystems of their habitats, whether as predators, prey, or symbiotic partners.
Despite their lack of magical abilities compared to other creature types, beasts could still pose serious threat through their physical strength, cunning, or natural defenses.
