The Gigant Tayatshkala, or Giant Scalemelter, were colossal creatures known for their immense size, corrosive scales, and incredibly aggressive nature. Resembling deep-water sea creatures with Snake-like bodies, Gigant Tayatshkalas were characterized by their massive, sword-like teeth. Their long, sleek forms were covered in shimmering scales that ranged in color from iridescent blues and greens to deep, ominous shades of black or silver.
Limited in intelligence but possessing fantastic swim speed, they were in tune with disturbances in their waters and feasted on nearly any size of prey. They generally hunted in deeper waters, as they were sensitive to sunlight.
Encounters with Gigant Tayatshkala were rarely-documented and almost always perilous, as these creatures were known to capsize ships and drag unwary sailors into the depths. They delivered extremely toxic venom through their teeth and scales, and were protected by their scales which, when broken, released sprays of poisonous vapor.
