A fey crossroad, also called a fey crossing, was a fold in reality where a plane intersected with the Vivid Realms. Appearing in myriad shapes and forms, they allowed instant travel by stepping in one end and coming out of the other. As a general rule, entrances were hidden from plain sight and required Spellcraft to find, though some were marked by druids. Such crossroads were designated by arranging stones, flora, or fungi in circles or lines.
Many crossroads had a Fey guardian, called a crossroad guardian, who had to be convinced to allow usage of the crossroad. Other fey received automatic permission to travel between the planes.
