A creeping hut was a powerful, massive type of Animated Object. These huts were magical dwellings that had the appearance of a traditional wooden cabin, but had the unique ability to move around on root structures or chicken-like legs. Completely obedient to their creators, who were often spellcasters of powerful magical ability, the huts varied greatly in terms of their inherent magical abilities and power. They often roamed through dense forests and remote areas, sometimes standing still and at other times walking or running.
Some creeping huts had doors and windows could appear and disappear, and it often required a magical phrase or ritual to be summoned or controlled. Due to their sheer size and lack of fallibility as a structure, creeping huts were exceptionally dangerous for humanoids to confront.
