A metallic sentinel was a type of construct built by metallic Dragons, typically made from the metal associated with their creator. They were often dispatched by dragons to watch over settlements and communities with which their draconic masters forged a bond. These beings possessed an innate, telepathic bond with their draconic creators, which allowed them to be manipulated beyond their initial instructions, provided their masters were on the same plane. They could communicate in the common and draconic languages.
They were powered by the energy type associated with their dragon's breath weapon, but did not release this energy as elemental blasts; instead, metallic sentinels could emit a calming mist that incapacitated foes. Like many other forms of construct, metallic sentinels were immune to many forms of damage and conditions, and their form could not be magically altered.
