Wands

Wands were magical items designed to store and channel Spells. Each wand was usually linked to a specific spell or type of magic, allowing the user to cast that spell without using their own spell slots. Most wands had a limited number of charges that could be used each day, and once those charges were spent, the wand could not be used again until it was recharged. Some wands could only be used by spellcasters, while others had fewer restrictions.

In practice, wands provided a way to extend magical resources and improve flexibility in different situations. They were often used to cast useful or powerful spells without draining a caster’s personal abilities. Common examples included wands that healed wounds, fired bolts of force, or detected magic. Because they allowed quick access to spells, wands were practical tools for both combat and problem-solving, and they were often kept as backups or used to support a group during long adventures.
