Staves of frost were exceedingly rare and powerful items that granted Spellcasters of sufficient knowledge to channel great evocation magic. Possessing a limited charge of innate magic that recovered daily, users could cast spells through the staff that formed walls of ice, conjured fog clouds, created storms, and blasted cones of freezing cold.
The staff also had innate abjurative magic, making the wearer resistant to cold energy.
