The campus post office is modest but functional, with wooden counters and shelves cluttered with wax-sealed letters and parcels. A large, wooden chest, often used for sorting mail, sits prominently in the center of the room. The postmaster, a portly and jovial figure, manages the day’s correspondence. An old wall map, marked with intricate routes and important landmarks, hangs above the counter.

Express mail

At the post office on campus, there is the option of sending mail more quickly than through the traditional carriers. Years ago, The Fysi Guild cultivated a plant that they call Ethervine; magical vines that can transport small objects to any other companion plant. These were originally developed for sharing important resources and messages between guild members, but have been since coopted by the postal system to deliver small packages and letters. Use of an Ethervine for express postage costs 10gp/package or letter mailed.
