A fourth year student in the Knowledge Track, majoring in Magical Theory. Rubina is also taking a minor in Musical Arts through the Diplomacy stream.
When Rubina walks into a room, people take notice. A measured performer with gravitas beyond her years, Rubina is a valued member of the Play-actors Drama Guild who can handle weightier roles that more melodramatic actors can't. This has caused friction within the guild as members vie for parts. Everyone waits with bated breath each year to see whether Rubina or her fiercest rival, Idela Wright, will score the lead part in the Spring Musical. So far they're one-to-one, with Idela getting the role in their second year and Rubina swooping in to take it in their third. Everyone knows first years don't get lead parts, so the real testimony to who is the better actor will be revealed in their senior year.
Rubina's stage presence extends to delivering presentations in class. When she orates, one can almost imagine a hardened general marshalling her bloodied and exhausted troops for a final push against a far superior foe.
Rubina is part of the Show Band Association and has moved from playing to conducting. No previous student conductor has demanded and received such unwavering respect as Rubina. With merely a look and a raised eyebrow, she can quiet even the most raucous orchestra sessions.
