It is believed that when the Titans died their souls raised to the Celestial Plane where they reside over Avromia, granting boons to their worshippers and guiding the souls of the dead. It is thought that when a person dies their soul is expelled to the Astral Sea where they will eventually dissolve into the magical stardust that makes up the great weave. However, those devout worshippers who honoured their Titan-gods in life may be plucked from the Astral Sea by servants of the Titans and join their gods in the Celestial Plane, becoming demigods--or saints, depending on the interpretation of religious texts.
The predominant religion in most of Thémos, Titanism is the belief that the seven Titans who once walked the earth ascended to the Celestial Plane and became gods. Those who practice Titanism believe that each of the Titans claimed dominion over certain natural phenomena, and can influence the events of the natural world if properly worshipped.
For example, Titanists pray to Kyvranos for good weather, clear skies, steady winds, and safe passage to the afterlife; to Parakti for abundance of fish, safe docking, and protection against invaders of the sea; to Giniko for stability in the earth, rich soil, and an abundance of minerals; to Kyvlassa for calm waters, safety at sea, and the avoidance of sea monsters; to Dasomera for healthy crops and trees, an abundance of wildlife, and general health; to Potamera for safety from the river and enemies who may cross it, for clean fresh water, and for cures to disease; and to Kyvouno for safety from avalanches and cave-ins, an abundance of gems and ores, and protection from mountain-dwelling creatures.
