Professor Breeze overcame many challenges in life to get to where he is today. Notably, he was the first Kenku to enrol in F.L.A.M.E. Academy and the first to become a member of the faculty. There are many obstacles that stand in the way for young Kenku seeking an education. Things like written assignments and essays become very difficult when your grasp on speech is still developing, and tests are tricky when many large words are unfamiliar on the page. Professor Breeze never let that stop him, managing to climb to the top of his class and graduate with honours despite his setbacks. After becoming a professor, he wrote to alumni and started a foundation called "Soar Above", a scholarship for Kenku students to encourage them to apply to F.L.A.M.E.
