The Q.U.E.S.T program (Quality Understanding and Experience with Supervised Training) seeks to provide students with the opportunity for hands-on learning in their field. Aside from gaining practical experience and knowledge, the program is designed to help students build their resumes and make connections by hosting scouts from The Unified Guilds. The Q.U.E.S.T program takes students a step further in their learning by allowing them to go on guild missions with a dedicated trained professional. These missions are hand-picked by a guild mentor who will supervise students while they react to real-world issues and gain experience working in the field.

By participating in Q.U.E.S.T., students will get the chance to engage in missions from across the guild spectrum. This means that regardless of a student's chosen track, they will gain expertise in skills important to all five of the Unified Guilds. Our aim is to promote well-rounded learning so that students have a better idea of what guild they would like to apply to upon graduation, and possess the required skills to achieve those goals.

This exciting new initiative will be available for the first time in the fall semester. Four lucky students will be recruited to be a part of the Q.U.E.S.T. pilot program and will mentor under a prestigious member of The Simera Guild, Keya Inafir. The Q.U.E.S.T. program will provide these students with a course credit that they can use towards their graduation. As well, there are opportunities for Q.U.E.S.T. scholarships for those who are participating in the pilot program.

Last week, the group travelled to Asfalis to Unknown excavation site under the Old Palace, where they worked with The Xerniko Guild to dig up some items from the past.

Next week, the group will be working with The Pnethera Guild, although the specifics of the trip have not yet been disclosed.

ENROLLED STUDENTS

Kyr is a chemist apothecary in the Knowledge Track, majoring in Potion-Making. He doesn't have any plans after graduation, but most people expect him to apply to the same guilds as his twin brother, Tyranny Jr. Kathos. Most people at F.L.A.M.E. Academy know Kyr as a menace to society, but a fun one to have around. He’s always down for a party, and he lives between between varying shades of drunk, high, and hungover. He’s very friendly, loves to make jokes and pull pranks, and will flirt with just about anybody. However, he also has a reputation for a short temper and a long memory. Rile him up, and you might find yourself with a black eye. Unfortunately for him, it’s not hard to be bigger and stronger than Kyr, so he usually also walks away with a black eye (unless Tyr is around to step in). Don't think a fist fight will be the end of it, though. Enemies of Kyr learn the hard way that revenge is a dish best served cold.

He is a troublemaker in class, when he bothers to show up (Kyr is a big believer in doing exactly enough to coast; work smarter, not harder). You can usually find him in The Forest behind The Greenhouse with the other burnouts, or in the Laboratories where he works as a Specimen Preparer. When the Varsity Mage Tower Team has games, you can find Kyr under the bleachers at F.L.A.M.E. Stadium, definitely not causing trouble for the visiting team.

Kaida Greystone is a very lax student, majoring in Archery within the Combat Track. She is notoriously known for skipping most classes except for the ones taught by Pofessor Zell Brikdum with no secret behind her admiration for his "take no shit" attitude. For her first two years at F.L.A.M.E. Academy the professor's here had hopes for good grades and a stellar performance to follow in her older sister Starlene Greystone who was a top of her class student and regarded highly by the professors. It is no secret to say that Kaida in fact, is nothing like her sister.

Kaida spends most of her "free time" lounging at The Lake enjoying a puff or two. Or at The Training Grounds with her bow and a quiver of arrows. Though she does not excel with grades, her aim with a bow is unpresedent - not that any of the guilds would see the importance of practical training over education. Regardless of this, Kaida is hoping to persue for a position within The Simera Guild after graduation. It's yet to be seen if she will truly graduate this year, however.
