Ceiwryn

Ceiwryn

The Ceiwryn are the most numerous of the the Gwerinbryg in the north. This is perhaps unsurprising given that their mimicked animal, the deer, is well adapted to the forests that cover much of the north. Like the deer that roam the forests, gender effects the physical characteristics they hold, with only males having their most prominent feature, antlers.

Ability Score: Dexterity +2

Darkvision: You have the ability to see in darkness as if it is dim light for 60ft.

Antlers (Male): The antlered men of the Ceiwryn are able to use them in self defence if they wish, but they are far from perfect weapons.

You can choose to make the attack action with your antlers, they deal 1d4 piercing damage, increasing to 1d6 at the 6th level, 2d6 at the 11th level, and 2d8 at the 16th level. Any attacks made with these are at disadvantage however.

Fight or Flight: All Gwerinbryg retain the animal instincts of there natural counterparts, in the Ceiwryn this is a strong instinct to fight or flee from a potential threat. Thankfully, their minds are developed enough to prevent these from overtaking them entirely, allowing them to benefit without the drawback of being blinded by emotion.
