The most unusual of the Gwerinbryg, the Asgelledr also have the greatest departure from typical humanoid appearance. Reflections of bats, their faces and heads are as beast like as usual, but also have a thin, wing-like membrane stretching between their mid-sides and elbows. These can be unnerving to foreigners, and perhaps explains why the Asgelledr are rarely seen outside of their mountain homes.

 

Ability Score: Wisdom +1, Charisma +1

 

Superior Darkvision: You can see in darkness as if it is dim light for 120ft.

 

Sunlight Sensitivity: You have disadvantage on Attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

 

Gliding Wings: The ‘wings’ of Asgelledr are not suitable for flight, but are superb for gliding long distances.

 

You have resistance to any damage taken by falling and advantage on saving throws to avoid falling unconscious as a result of this damage. You can glide while falling, this gives you a speed of 40ft. While gliding you descend 10ft per round.

 

Echo Location: The broad ears of the Asgelledr are not just for show, they can use a series of high pitched sounds to paint a picture of the world around themselves without the need for sight. This can not provide any details beyond basic shape and texture.

 

Provided you are not gagged or deafened, you have blindsight for 60ft. This does not allow you to see around corners. You gain proficiency with Perception checks, if this is gained again they become expertise.
