Giants are said by their peoples seers to be the original people, and the common races are their unworthy descendants, perhaps the only fact that all Giants can be united upon in thinking. They call these unworth folk 'children' as both insult and judgement.
The first Giant, and father of the Ancestors is Rübezahl, a mountain spirit or woodwose of the Giantwalk.
