Leviskus

Major Aspect of Chaos

Leviskus is the endless seeker of knowledge at the cost of everything else.

Leviskus is described as a tall, gaunt figure shrouded in a shifting, charcoal-grey cloak made entirely of tightly bound minuscule scrolls, each inscribed with a fragment of a forgotten language. His weathered hands are gnarled and stained a deep indigo. His face is hidden behind a polished obsidian mask, reflecting the observer's deepest secrets.

Leviskus is a being of profound, unsettling calm. He speaks in a low, resonant voice, each word carefully chosen, often laced with subtle irony. He delights in presenting mortals with seemingly simple choices that unravel into complex moral dilemmas. He rarely provides answers, preferring to nudge individuals towards self-discovery, learning from their choices. He possesses a dry, almost melancholic humor that would be unnoticed by most. He is neither benevolent nor malevolent, but rather a neutral observer and seeker of knowledge.

Rites

The Rite of Reflection: Seekers gather reflective surfaces and in contemplation, confront their inner selves. They record perceived flaws and virtues, seeking clarity on their true nature, thus creating a space for Leviskus to offer subtle guidance toward self-improvement.

The Rite of Discovery: Seekers collect seemingly contradictory facts and information, recording them to search for hidden patterns that they are certain to exist but can't find. During this process, they offer prayer and a sacrifice to Leviskus (the nature of the sacrifice may vary) in the hope that Leviskus would aid them in reconciling these contradictions and open pathways to new understandings.
