A broad-shouldered dwarf with a coal-black beard gone silver at the edges, Durgan is a veteran of brutal frontier fighting and old tunnel wars, brought in not to shape rails, but to keep the Railway’s enforcers, guards, and chosen agents outfitted in proper killing steel. Unlike most Iron Gospel smiths who live their lives knee-deep in spikes, braces, and machine fittings, Durgan still forges old dwarven warcraft: thick-headed maces, cleaving battleaxes, and dense, layered heavy armour built to survive close, ugly violence.
He carries himself like a soldier who never truly left the battlefield. He doesn’t talk much unless it’s about steel, death, or bad leadership.
