Scroll of Clarity
This scroll is adorned with intricate patterns that symbolize a clear and focused mind. When the scroll is read, it imparts mental clarity to the reader, allowing them to ward off mind trickery and illusions. The protection lasts for 1 hour. During this time, the reader gains advantage on saving throws against illusion spells and effects. If they are under the influence of any mind-altering illusion, reading the scroll allows them to make another saving throw with advantage to see through the deception. It's magic is regained after 24 hours. The Scroll of Clarity is a valuable tool for those who need to navigate treacherous terrain filled with illusions and mental manipulation or for anyone seeking to maintain a sharp, undistracted mind.

Trebuchet Strike
This spell channels the destructive force of a trebuchet and unleashes
it upon a targeted area. Upon casting, the scroll will shimmer with bright fire and create a trebuchet model out of radiant flame, it will grow in size to a full-sized
trebuchet before unleashing its destructive payload. The Trebuchet Strike spell was created during a fierce rivalry between a wizard and an artificer, both of whom were experts in siege warfare. The wizard claimed that he could create the heaviest siege weapon that was also the lightest at the same time, an impossible feat according to the artificer. In response, the wizard began to craft a powerful spell that would emulate the power and range of a trebuchet. He poured all of his knowledge and skill into the creation of the spell, determined to prove his worth in the realm of siege warfare. After months of intense work, the Trebuchet Strike spell was finally completed. With it, the wizard could create a massive, magical projectile that would crash down on his enemies from afar. The spell was unlike anything the artificer had ever seen before, and it quickly gained notoriety throughout Rivermond. Today, the Trebuchet Strike spell is considered one of the most formidable magical weapons in existence, and many aspiring war mages strive to master its power. However, it is also considered a dangerous spell, as its raw power can easily get out of control if not used with caution. Effect: Choose a point within its 300 ft range. All creatures and objects within a 30-foot
radius of that point must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 14). On a failed
save, they take 4d10 bludgeoning damage + 2d6 fire damage and are knocked prone. On a
successful save, they take half as much damage and are not knocked
prone. The scroll disintegrates after use.

Torrent Blast
The Scroll of Torrent Blast is said to have been created by a powerful at the Arcane Academy who had a penchant for playing pranks on his fellow wizards. He created the spell as a joke, intending it to be a harmless way to get back at his rivals. However, the spell quickly gained a reputation for being incredibly destructive, and it was eventually banned in most magical circles. Despite its reputation, many mages still make copies of the Scroll for in their collection, viewing it as a last resort when all other options have failed. The spell is incredibly powerful, capable of creating a massive blast of water that can easily knock back enemies and cause significant damage. However, the spell is also highly unpredictable, and many who have attempted to use it have been injured or killed in the process. As a result, the Scroll of Torrent Blast is considered to be one of the most dangerous elemental spells, and its use is strictly regulated in most magical groups.
Effect: The Scroll of Torrent Blast is a powerful magical scroll that unleashes a blast of water upon its target. Upon activation, a jet of water is launched from the scroll towards the target, dealing 8d6 points of bludgeoning damage. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15) or suffer the entire blast. The scroll can be used only once and then it crumbles into dust. It requires attunement by a spellcaster who can cast 3rd-level spells or higher.

This is a heart ripped from a demonic creature, now crystallized and pulsating with a dark, lingering magic. The heart has a deep red hue and emits a faint, eerie glow. Even in death, the demonic essence trapped within it continues to radiate power. A Crystallized Demonic Heart is a remarkable artifact that can fetch a hefty sum of gold to the right buyer, particularly those interested in dark magic or infernal artifacts. Lore A Crystallized Demonic Heart is a dark relic steeped in infernal lore. Forgotten legends say that such hearts are formed when a demon of significant power is slain in a battle of tremendous arcane intensity. As the demonic life force ebbs away, it coalesces and crystallizes, trapping the essence of the creature within a gem-like prison. This process imbues the heart with lingering magic, allowing it to pulsate with power long after its host's demise. The heart has a sinister allure, its deep red hue reminiscent of dark blood, and it emits a faint, eerie purple glow that seems to flicker in rhythm with an otherworldly pulse. Those who gaze upon it can almost hear the distant, echoing beats of a heart that should no longer be. Tales among mortals of the Crystallized Demonic Heart date back to ancient times, when powerful wizards and demon hunters would seek these hearts to harness their formidable power. However, many who possessed such artifacts found themselves slowly succumbing to the corrupting influence of the demonic energy contained within. These hearts were often buried deep or hidden away to prevent their malevolent magic from causing further harm.
Properties: - Charisma Enhancement: While attuned to the Crystallized Demonic Heart, your Charisma score increases by 3, to a maximum of 20.
- Resistance to Charms: You have resistance to being charmed.
- Dominate Monster: Once per long rest, you can cast the Dominate Monster spell (save DC 15). This ability recharges at dawn.
Attunement: To attune to the Crystallized Demonic Heart, a creature must spend a short rest holding and meditating on the relic, during which time they must come to terms with the dark power they are embracing. The heart is a powerful artifact that enhances the charisma and willpower of its wielder but comes with an inherent risk of corruption. Only those with a strong will can control its power without being overwhelmed by its demonic influence. Effects of Attunement: While the heart grants significant power, it also comes with risks. Prolonged attunement can lead to subtle changes in the attuned's personality, making them more prone to anger and ambition. If not careful, the wielder might start to exhibit minor physical changes as well, such as faint red veins appearing near their eyes or a slight, unearthly glow in their irises when they are agitated or using the heart's power.

A Source Stone is a crystalline gem that appears mundane to the untrained eye, but it shimmers with a faint inner light upon closer inspection. This light is the manifestation of solidified magical energy. The crystal is typically the size of a small apple, with facets that catch and refract light in mesmerizing patterns. Due to its rarity and the specialized knowledge required to identify and properly utilize its properties, a Source Stone is highly valued among mages and scholars. Source Stones are very rare and prized artifacts found in the wild under specific and often arcane circumstances. They can also be artificially created by skilled mages through complex rituals and processes that solidify raw magical energy into a tangible form. These stones are invaluable for magic-intensive journeys, grand rituals, or in-depth magical studies. Legends say that the most potent Source Stones were created by archmages at the Arcane Collegium Lyceum of Vindrik and can amplify even the most formidable spells. Special Features: - Detection: A creature proficient in Arcana can identify a Source Stone with a successful DC 15 Arcana check.
- Single Use: Crushing the Source Stone consumes it, releasing the stored magical energy and amplifying the spell. The stone cannot be used again once it has been crushed.
- Amplify Magic: When a Source Stone is crushed as part of casting a spell, it grants an additional 1d12 to the spell's damage or effect. For instance, if used with a healing spell, it adds 1d12 to the healing done.

Stormfire Repeater
The Stormfire Repeater is a flintlock rifle of exceptional quality, originating from the advanced forges of the Vache Kingdom. Designed with precision and reliability in mind, it is one of the most favored rifles within the Kingdom. Adorned with the emblem of the Vache Kingdom—three golden crowns—the rifle signifies both its high-quality craftsmanship and its prestigious origin. Owning a Stormfire Repeater is a status symbol among the Vache aristocracy. The Stormfire Repeater is valued at approximately 1,000 gold pieces within the Vache Kingdom. Due to its reputation and desirability, it can fetch prices up to 1,500 gold pieces on the black market or in distant lands like Falktown in Rivermond. The Stormfire Repeater is renowned for its precision and reliability, making it a favored weapon among the aristocracy and elite soldiers of the Vache Kingdom. Its reputation has spread beyond Vache's borders, becoming a sought-after weapon even in distant lands. Aristocrats have been known to sell these rifles, both legally and illegally, to parties outside the Kingdom. Special Abilities: - Precision Barrel: The Stormfire Repeater is equipped with a precision-engineered barrel that enhances its accuracy. You have a +1 bonus to attack rolls made with this rifle.
- Rapid Fire: The rifle's unique repeater mechanism allows for quick and efficient firing. Once per round, after making an attack, you can use a bonus action to fire another shot with the Stormfire Repeater.
- Expertly Crafted: The Stormfire Repeater's craftsmanship ensures its reliability even in harsh conditions. It does not suffer disadvantage on attack rolls due to being submerged in water or firing in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow.
- Distant Shot: The Stormfire Repeater's long-range capabilities are well-regarded. It has a range of 1000 feet when firing at disadvantage and 300 feet without disadvantage, making it an excellent choice for engaging enemies from afar.
- Bayonet Attachment: The Stormfire Repeater can be fitted with a bayonet, allowing the wielder to make melee attacks with the rifle. Attaching or detaching the bayonet requires a bonus action.
- Export Version: The rifles sold to militiamen in Falktown are an export variant, stripped of some of the more intricate engravings and craftsmanship. As such, they lack the +1 bonus to attack rolls and weigh slightly less at 8 lbs. However, they still retain the Rapid Fire and Distant Shot abilities.
