Zonya Arenhold

Honor Guard
NPC, Noble

Zonya Arenhold was born into the noble household of Arenhold, a family of high elves known for their fierce loyalty and exceptional skills in combat. Her parents, Lord and Lady Arenhold, were renowned warriors who had served the Greenfield barony for many years. Zonya was the younger of two children, with her older brother Dimitri being four years older. From a young age, Zonya showed a natural talent for combat. Her parents recognized her potential and trained her in various forms of martial arts, as well as sword fighting and archery. Zonya excelled in all these disciplines and quickly became a skilled warrior in her own right.

Sadly, tragedy struck when Zonya was just sixteen years old. Her parents were killed in a hunting accident, leaving her and her brother as the sole members of the Arenhold family. Zonya was devastated by their loss, but she knew that she had to be strong for her brother and for herself. After her parents' death, Zonya and Dimitri were taken in by the Holmes family. James and Elena had known the Arenholds for a many years and were close friends with the family. They offered to take the siblings under their wing and help them adjust to their new life without their parents.

Zonya and Dimitri quickly became close to the Holmes family and began to see them as their new family. They were both honored when James and Elena offered them the position of honorary bodyguards. Zonya, in particular, was often seen by Elena's side, ready to defend her lady at a moment's notice.  Despite her tough exterior, Zonya had a softer side that she only showed to those closest to her. She was fiercely loyal to her brother and the Holmes family, but she also had a deep love for the natural world. She often spent her free time exploring the woods around Shoremond, communing with nature and taking in the beauty of the world around her.

Zonya was a complex individual, a skilled warrior with a tender heart. She had suffered great loss in her life, but she had also found a new family and purpose in serving the Holmes family. And as long as she had her brother and the people she loved around her, she knew that she could face any challenge that came her way.
