The Everron "Family" is the defacto ruler over the Iron Isles and has been for centuries. How and when the Family came to power is shrouded in mystery but it is commonly known among the local population about the family's vampyric ways. Jonathan Everron has been the head of the family ever since it came into power and has expanded his vampyric linage ever since, there are countless of bastards around the Iron Isles and majority of them are unknown to the masses or Jonathan himself. Other Vampires have come to their shores and business have been booming. The ruling Vampires operates the majority of the mines across all isles.

There has been times where the local population has revolted or tried to strike against the harsh comditions under Vampyric rule. Eventually Jonathan was convinced by his lords and ladies to introduce a blood tax, in return for various benefits such as protection and coin. While many agreed to this new tax some did not and some areas of the Iron Isles are contested territories with the mortal population. Instead of massacring the towns Jonathan has simply let his kin loose to feed in those territories however they see fit. Jonathan only cares over his own gains and is not bothered by petty strikes as long as his mines are operation. People are replaceable.

The Everron family have a large population of ratfolk under their control which serve them as guards. They are weak but they are many and Jonathan finds them more useful than people. Alerian Everron, the second most powerful figure around the Iron Isles some would say and one of the daughters of Jonathan. She is cruel and very direct with how things are meant to be around Steel Port, she on the other hand does not like the company of the Ratfolk and will happily throw them at any problem that comes up among the populaiton. While Jonathan is occupied she is the acting face of the Everron family. Lucian Everron is one of the older sons of Jonathan and runs Steel Spire like he owns it. Lazar Everron is one of the younger sons who left the Iron Isles and found a new life within the Dynasty. He is a man of mystery and curiousity but also a dark and twisted slave merchant. Veronika Everron is one of the younger daughters who was sent to the far north after an altercation with Alerian. She now wanders the old land of Kalamar enjoying the pleasures it offers. Valentina Everron is among the youngest in the family and is rarely seen. She is known among the locals as a calm soul while she is in fact spending more time among the family's bloodthirsty beasts.
