Marian Castle was born to a family of minor nobles in the Bellmond barony, the second daughter of a wealthy merchant family. Despite being raised in luxury, she always felt drawn to the art of combat and warfare, which was highly unusual for a noblewoman of her time. Her parents, however, indulged her interests, and she received training in both swordplay and archery from a young age. Marian's life changed when she met Jeremy Castle, a skilled swordsman from the Eastfort stronghold. The two fell in love quickly, and Jeremy's father, the former Lord of Eastfort, approved of the match. Marian and Jeremy were married in a grand ceremony in Bellmond, and soon after, they moved to the Eastfort stronghold, where Marian took up the spear under her husband's tutelage.
As the Lady of Eastfort, Marian oversees the daily operations of the stronghold, including the training of its soldiers and the defense of the main road leading to the Khein Dynasty. She is highly respected by the soldiers under her command, who appreciate her skill with the spear and her strategic mind. Despite being busy with her duties at Eastfort, Marian maintains a close relationship with her younger sister, Victoria Stromberg, who lives in the city of Riverstone. Victoria is married to the Lord of the city, Eckbert Stromberg, and the two sisters often exchange letters and visit each other when they can.
Marian and Jeremy have been married for several years now, and while they have yet to have children, they remain deeply in love. Marian's passion for combat has not diminished, and she continues to train and improve her skills with the spear, hoping to one day become as renowned a warrior as her husband.
