Alena Hoffner was born and raised in Wildrun, and from a young age, she showed a natural talent for horse riding. She spent most of her childhood and teenage years mastering the art of taming wild horses, and soon became known as one of the best in the region. When she was of age, Alena was married to Reinhold Hoffner, her childhood friend and friendly rival in mounted skills. Their marriage brought the Hoffner and Wildmare families even closer together, and they became one of the most respected and influential families in Wildrun.
Despite her love for horse riding, Alena has also taken on the role of Lady of Wildrun, and has proven to be a capable leader for the village. She is respected by the villagers for her kindness, wisdom, and her unwavering dedication to her duties. Alena and Reinhold have a son named Adam, who is not as interested in horses as his parents. Although she wishes her son shared her passion for horse riding, Alena loves and supports him in his own pursuits. She sees potential in Adam's interest in politics and diplomacy, and hopes that he will one day be a respected leader like his father.
As for the Redmond barony, Alena has always been loyal to her liege lord Oliver Rocks. She sees him as a fair and just ruler, and believes that he has the best interests of his vassals and the region at heart. She hopes to continue serving him and the people of Wildrun for many years to come.
