The region under the Protectorate of Clan Yurami is one of the largest and oldest in the Nagan Empire. The Yurami clan have protected the regions relentlessly for centuries and the people of the region are very loyal and fond of the clan as a whole. They watch over many farmlands and several wilderness areas while protecting a handful of important ports for the Empire. Many across the Empire travel to see the Forest of the Five, a holy place for many and a mysterious place where pleny of strange events have taken place. Most that enter does not come back the same, it is said people get their fortune told or visions of great events in their lives. One enters the forest at their own risk.

The Hush Forest outside of Hishin is avoided by many as it is rumoured to be haunted. Famous for being eerily quiet, the winds are quiet and no animal sounds. Those that do cross the forest will tell that they always felt watched while in the forest. Even the Samurai avoid enterering the forest in belief it might anger whatever is lurking among the trees. Others think it is a resting place for the gods hence why it is so quiet and to distub the silence is surely cause for eternal bad luck.

Near the border to the Kami Concord lies the Western Blood Jungle where the clan come to test their might in besting large beasts. It has recently become contested with clan Liadon and the Samurai from both clans have come to blows over territorial claims.

Yurami Castle

The stronghold and home of the Yurami Clan. This is where the mighty Samurai of the clan live, train and spend their time being at the ready for any possbile threats in their territory. The castle houses a handful of villiagers who have set up businesses which makes the lives of the Samurai easier such as the smithy, tannery and dedicated stables.

Tzoka

The largest port city in the region and home of the Shadows of Tzoka. While being under the protectorate of clan Yurami the Guild have held the largest sway in the city, they have clashed with the Samurai at times but have otherwise a common goal of keeping the city protected. The city is often covered in thick mists caused by the mages of the guild in order to keep the city safe and discourage enemies to enter the city. Despite this the city still see a large amount of traders that pass through the city through the roads and port.

Miaga

The second largest port and the most busy trading hub in the region. Most traders turned to make business in Miaga instead of Tzoka when the city came under the control from a Orc warband. Even after the city returned under Imperial rule merchants and traders kept returning to Miaga thanks to the good will of Kaneko Kunimoto, who is the Mayor.

Tazhien

A large fishing port close to the border of the Kami Concord. It is not very busy but does hold a small permanent force of Samurai in case of any attacks from across the border. The leader of the port town Arakaki Nagaboshi is an avid pacifist and follower of Laaos. Always trying to keep the Samurai happy and keeping order in town.

Oto

A rather small town sitting ontop of a cliff with a good view over the coasts on the horizon. On certain days the people of Oto are able to see the lights from Miaga shining through the clouds. Oto is home to many hunters who become skilled Samurai archers. The town is believed to sit upon an old dragon burial so to many this town is one of the cleanest in the region. The town is overseen by its leader Hamasaki Sanjiro.

Hishin

One of the most isolated places in the region, even the Samurai are denied entry at times and is said to be home to many assassins, the Ninja. The town rarely opens up for outsiders so very little there is made for visitors. The people there provide and protect themselves. People from Hishin have traveled to become part of the Yurami clan and become Samurai. They are notebly skilled in general survival to the point where the Clan does send parties to the town in hope of recruiting new blood. The town is currently ran by the young Onishi Hide.

Shinto

A small port town at the border near the Protectorate of Clan Taoka. This port have often clashed with the fishermen of nearby ports when it comes to their fishing and general trade. It holds a small but permanent force of Samurai to maintain the peace, it does happen that Samurai of clan Taoka make stop in Shinto after patrolling the border. Fortunately the clans are on good terms with one another. The port is ran by the old Samurai Ozaki Yoshirami.

Ninsama

A village that had a fortunate boom when people of Tzoka fled there. It became a town within a month. People set up new shops and homes to accommodate the new influx of people but after Tzoka was taken back the people returned, leaving Ninsama with an overabundant amount of supplies with not enough demand. Things were sold to everyone at a lower cost and the majority of people in Ninsama had to turn to new ventures. Sekino Yodo runs the town strictly and have Samurai patrolling the street to prevent people from turning to crime.

Kanju

A town which ties the main roads together, making Kanju an ideal stop for merchants and travellers alike. The town holds a large market revolving beasts, granting the town the reputation of being a hive of beastmasters. The town is ran by Takahara Namihara and is a famous beast tamer in the area.

Yoshiha

A small village and stop between Kanju and Sata. The village consist mainly of farms and breweries.  It holds a small but permanent force of Samurai to maintain security against wildlife that tend to wander through and damage the fields. The leader of the village Bando Ko has her own villiage guard as well while she does appreciate the support from the Yurami clan.

Kuju

A small and isolated mining villiage which lies near the border of the Kami Concord. A harsh and dangerous place to work and the people in the village rarely get to leave. It is often overlooked by the Samurai that patrol the area which has led leadership to become more strict on the miners. The village ran by the Kuroshi family, the village is ran by Kasumi while the mining is operated by Konno.

Shozilla

This village holds one of the greatest temples in the region. The only temple dedicated to the Five and their creator, a rare find in the current Empire and has been left to stand the test of time. Few are aware of it and the people of the village are very protective of it, scholars from all over the Empire travel to the temple from time to time. However the village itself does not hold much more than a bare tavern and bunch of farms.

Shinshin

A mining village near the border of the Protectorate of Clan Taoka and near not far from Shinto. The mines are heavily guarded by local to the point where rumours have gone out that the mines hold more than just ore and gemstones. Despite it being a small village, Shinshin have defensive walls surrounding the whole settlement and its mines. The village and its mines is managed and led by Shao Namitori. A young business man who recently took over the mines and in turn came to influence the entire village.

Sata

A small village near Yoshiha. The villagers live almost entirely on the river that goes through the village, they have a few farms while the majority of their food is made up by fish. Despite being a small village, many from Sata have gone to become Samurai of the Yurami clan. The village is often visited by those that go to become Samurai and are almost revered by the locals. The leader Hakata Komoto is known by his blessings of visitors to Sata.
