Hiraga Kirishi was born and raised in Shinshin, growing up as the daughter of a blacksmith who worked in the mines. From a young age, she was fascinated by the local tavern, the Golden Tap, which had been a fixture in the village for as long as anyone could remember. As she got older, she began spending more and more time there, watching the patrons and learning the tricks of the trade from the bartender at the time. When that bartender eventually retired, Nagatani Sumoto immediately took a liking to Kirishi's charm and skill behind the bar. He offered her a job as his bartender, and she accepted, excited to continue learning and growing in her craft.
Despite her boss's obsession with gold, Kirishi remained grounded and down-to-earth, always treating the patrons of the Golden Tap with kindness and respect. She became a beloved fixture in the village, known for her quick wit, her infectious laughter, and her ability to mix a mean drink. Despite her love for the Golden Tap and her job as a bartender, Kirishi had dreams of traveling and seeing the world beyond Shinshin.
