Inspired by the mystical powers of the two moons—Drekkand Kvilla—that hung over the town, Yurumani forged this blade to embody their ethereal essence. The katana's blade edge emits a soft silver light, while its ridge gleams jet black. The hilt is intricately adorned with images of the two moons, capturing their celestial beauty.

Forged by Kawasaki Yuruman during a month-long meditation in the town of Oto, the Moonblade of Oto was intended to be a gift for Clan Yurami. However, fate intervened, and the blade was lost on the road, its destination never reached. Legends speak of the sword's ability to harness the powers of the two moons, granting its wielder extraordinary abilities in battle.

Attunement:

To attune to the Moonblade of Oto, a character must spend a long rest under the light of both moons, communing with their mystical energies and reflecting on the blade's purpose. This attunement process requires a connection to the moon's magic and an understanding of the balance between light and shadow.

Special Abilities:

• Lunar Edge: The Moonblade of Oto grants a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Additionally, when you make an attack with this weapon, you can choose to imbue it with either radiant or cold energy, dealing an additional 1d6 radiant or necrotic damage on a successful hit.
• Blessing of the Moons: While attuned to the Moonblade of Oto, you gain the ability to cast moonbeam once per day without expending a spell slot. The spell is cast at its lowest level and uses your proficiency bonus for its spell attack modifier.
• Shifting Balance: As an action, you can call upon the powers of the two moons to shift the balance of light and shadow around you. This ability casts the darkness spell centered on yourself, except you can see through the darkness as if it were dim light. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
