Description: The Shoreguard is a set of heavy plate armor designed to be worn by members of the Shoremond City Guard. It is made from the finest steel, and is known for its incredible durability and protective properties. The armor is adorned with the crest of the Shoremond City Guard, a stylized wave, which is prominently displayed on the breastplate. The Shoreguard was commissioned by the Shoremond City Guard after the city got rid of its criminals. The armor was crafted by Cas Irons in the city, and has since become a symbol of the Guard's strength and dedication to protecting the citizens of Shoremond. In times of crisis, the Shoreguard is worn by the most skilled and trusted members of the Guard, who are tasked with defending the city from any and all threats.
Special Abilities:
- Well Forged: The Shoreguard gives the wearer resistance to fire and cold damage.
- Blessing of the Shore: Once per long rest, the wearer of the Shoreguard can use its special ability to call upon the power of the armor. When activated, the wearer becomes surrounded by a 20 ft protective aura that grants them temporary hit points equal to their level + their Constitution modifier. This effect lasts for 1 minute, and can be ended early as a bonus action.
