Vorathor the Dominator

Keeper of Draconic Purity, Daughter of Azyroth
NPC, Ancient Dragon
Vorathor, the ancient prime dragon and matriarch of the enigmatic Black Dragons, looms as a large shadowy figure in the annals of Midora's history. Born of the celestial dragon matriarch Azyroth's divine breath, she embodies the essence of darkness and domination. While mortals remain unaware of her true name, she is known among a select few wizards and scholars as "the Dominator," a title that speaks to her fearsome reputation and unyielding will.

In the mortal realm, Vorathor is often mistaken for just another black dragon, a misconception that many have paid dearly for. Black dragons are hunted relentlessly by questing knights and adventurers seeking glory or treasure, and Vorathor has claimed the lives of countless fools who dared to challenge her might. Her disdain for mortals runs deep, born of centuries of conflict and betrayal. Yet, in recent years, she has withdrawn from direct confrontation, preferring to avoid the incessant pestering of would-be heroes and meddling wizards.

Within the ranks of her own kind, Vorathor is an outsider, regarded with suspicion and wariness by her fellow prime dragons. She has little patience for their squabbles and alliances, preferring to chart her own course through the currents of time. When summoned to the great convocations of dragons, she is a voice of dissent, advocating for draconic supremacy and purity above all else. Her title among her kin is "Keeper of Draconic Purity," a mantle she wears with pride and determination.

Despite her isolation and disdain for mortal affairs, Vorathor remains a force to be reckoned with, her power unmatched and her will unbroken. In the depths of her lair, she broods over ancient tomes and arcane relics, plotting her next move in the eternal struggle for dominance among the dragons. And though her name may be unknown to mortals, her presence looms large in the shadows, a reminder of the darkness that lurks beyond the edges of their world.
