Maela Vint

"Copper", Sergeant of the 13th Company

Once a back-alley smuggler with a knack for moving goods unseen through the streets of Rivermond, Maela Vint—better known by the nickname Copper—was no stranger to the gray lines between survival and crime. Her downfall came not from betrayal or bad luck, but from a single misstep that put her in the hands of the Dominion Church. Faced with a brutal choice—lose her hand or serve in the Redeemed Legion—she chose to keep her fingers and take the march south.

Now a hardened sergeant in the 13th Company under Commander Tyranoth Redgast, Copper has traded contraband for crates of rations, armor, and medical kits. She oversees supply chains, transport logistics, and field repairs with an iron will and a sharp tongue. Her past life makes her uniquely suited for the role—she knows every trick in the book, and makes sure none of them are used under her watch.

Though Redgast keeps a close eye on her, Copper has proven herself reliable, even if she still walks the edge of regulation. She runs a tight crew and enforces her own brand of discipline, earning both respect and irritation from the troops. Some say she still has contacts back home in Rivermond, but if so, she’s never been caught bending the rules—for now.

To the soldiers of the 13th, Sergeant Copper is the one who makes sure their boots are mended, their bellies full, and their gear ready for the next march. And while her past is never far behind, she keeps it where it belongs: out of sight, and under control.
