Elira Dunn

Captain of the 9th Company

Captain Elira Dunn stands as a quiet pillar within the 9th Company of the Redeemed Legion—stoic, unyielding, and ever vigilant. Once an outcast noble from the  Silver Dominion, Elira's early life was defined by rejection and hardship. Plagued by both mental and physical ailments in her youth, her family cast her out, entrusting her care to a humble chapel at the edge of their holdings. There, among quiet halls and candlelit prayers, she found her footing in faith.

As she grew, the chapel clergy recognized her iron will and unshakable sense of justice. She was trained as a cleric, and through years of discipline, she emerged not only a devout believer but a formidable warrior—elegant in form, yet indomitable in spirit.

Her rise came to a violent halt when she was discovered beside the lifeless body of a priest. Elira claimed it was self-defense—an act committed after he assaulted her. Whether out of fear or politics, the authorities did not listen. She was quietly exiled across the Silver Dominion, sent to the far lands of Rivermond, and placed into the ranks of the Redeemed Legion. Within the 9th Company, Commander Karina Kessler saw more than scandal. She saw strength, discipline, and a survivor. Taking Elira under her wing, Kessler gave her the chance to rise again—this time on her own terms.

Now a captain, Elira Dunn commands the 9th’s shield formations and support casters. Her tactical sense is rooted in defense and discipline; she is known for never relinquishing ground once it's taken, no matter the cost. Her presence on the battlefield is as calm as it is resolute, often seen at the front line holding firm when others would falter. To the locals of Rivermond, she is remembered for her striking, serene beauty and quiet grace. But those who know the weight of her past also know this—beneath the surface lies the will of a woman who has endured everything and bent for no one. And should anyone dare to wrong her again, they’ll see just how much strength that calm exterior holds.
