Ashaba Provisioner

The Ashaba Provisioner sat near the crossroads at Harvest Town’s center, its wooden sign painted with a stalk of wheat crossing a river. The structure was half warehouse, half storefront—timber-framed with wide double doors that stay open during daylight. Inside, everything smelled faintly of oil, leather, and beeswax. Bins of grain, racks of tools, and hanging bundles of rope filled the main room, while smaller shelves along the walls held cookware, travel gear, and locally made crafts. A heavy ledger sat on the counter beside a small iron scale used to weigh coin and grain alike.

The shop served as the town’s central trade hub—merchants stopped here first when passing through from Ashabenford or the Moonsea Ride. Farmers would buy tools, sell surplus produce, or trade in barter. During planting and harvest seasons, the Provisioner doubleed as a community exchange: sacks of seed and crates of apples stacked high against the back wall.
