Achaekek's order of shadowy assassins has proven to be a headache for scholars trying to preserve the history of the Second Heroes' March. Firsthand accounts corroborate the Red Mantis's involvement in the Alchemist's downfall, and it would be well within Achaekek's interests to see her dead. But the fact that so many people seem to have known the Red Mantis were there in Moonlit Village doesn't line up at all with their usual terrifying secrecy, and it's a subject of debate whether they even assassinated anybody or not.
