The castle of Strahd von Zarovich where he rules from.

Atop a huge pillar of stone around a thousand foot tall.

Named after Strahd's mother, Queen Ravenovia.

Adventurers have been invited to Castle Ravenloft as guests in the past; some of them have then shared what they know with the Abbot of Saint Markovia... The castle has been described as large and quite empty with few guards as Strahd does not feel the need for them.
