A half-elf ranger of a rare conclave called the "Druid's Champions," with close ties to beast-kind and forests.
Literally raised among packs of wolves deep in the High Forest, Willow Wolf-friend is an expert tracker and truly a native to forestlands. Willow has taken her father's path as a Druid's Champion, a very special conclave of rangers, patrolling and protecting the wilds with her wolf companion Shadow often at her side. Her mother is also attuned to nature, a fanatical druid in the Circle of the Moon. Her proven loyalty and successes supporting the Emerald Enclave have raised her position to "Autumnreaver."
She joined Our Party in Phandalin, becoming an essential guide through the wilderness, in particular Neverwinter Wood. Feel much less at ease in town and cities, she is trying her best to adapt to the social expectations and manners of "civilized folk," but occasionally displays her Outlander nature when unsure or unaware of how communities live.

Learning more of her history clarifies Willow's devotion and kinship with wolves. The elvish blood from her father is of the Ly-tel-quessir (called the Lythari) or the "wolf-elves." The human blood from her mother includes elements of her mother's lycanthropy, for beyond being a shapeshifter (Wild Shape) as a member of the Circle of the Moon, she is also a werewolf, and by Willow's account wears the animal forms more often than human. Her region of the High Forest is not named, but its neighbors and travelers know well it to be thick with wolves and heavily patrolled and protected hunting grounds. This blood tie to wolves is a crucial necessity for her ranger abilities as a Druid's Champion.
