Description:

Those who explore environments obscured by fog, foliage, smoke, and other vision-impairing elements value these goggles, a set of tight-fitting eyewear that can be worn under a helmet or even other eyewear. While you wear the goggles, fog, smoke, and similar gases don’t grant targets concealment from you, and vegetation doesn’t either. The trinket provides no benefit against a target with total concealment.

A wearer that has at least 1 rank in Eldritch Lore is able to to effectively see through the spectacles as if under the True Seeing spell. This is a charge based ability that lasts the amount of minutes equal to the wearer's ranks in Eldritch Lore.

Be careful what you see. Using the Eldritch function of these spectacles may expose the wearer to horrors that can test their sanity.

There may be more to these spectacles than has been thus far ascertained.

True Seeing

You confer upon the target the ability to see all things within 120 feet as they actually are. The target sees through normal and magical darkness, notices secret doors hidden by magic, sees the exact locations of creatures or objects that are invisible or displaced, sees through illusions, and sees the true form of changed or transmuted things. Further, the target can focus its vision to see into some other planes (but not into extradimensional spaces).

True seeing, however, does not penetrate solid objects. It in no way confers X-ray vision or its equivalent. It does not negate concealment, including that caused by fog and the like. True seeing does not help the viewer see through mundane disguises, spot creatures who are simply hiding, or notice secret doors hidden by mundane means.
