Miga's husband and Togan's father, a former fisherman who's picked up ironworking. A quiet, eccentric man but pleasant in his own way, with a sharp eye for detail and a serious lack of charisma. He had long since resigned himself to a meager life hunting shellfish along the Ragged Coast, but his serendipitous encounter with Miga introduced him to an equally eccentric woman and a new trade which he adored. He followed her dutifully across the Ironlands in search of a place to call home, assisting her at the forge and doing most of the work caring for their son.
Bevan rarely goes out of his way to talk to people, and some Mossgrove folks misinterpret his awkwardness as disdain. He gets along decently well with Togan, but he defers to his wife in all matters.
