Haydith is a princess of Karrnath, and the sister of Kaius and Gaius ir'Wynarn. As part of the hostage exchange organised by her brother to maintain the peace, Haydith is a ward of King Boranel in Breland.
Originally heartbroken at being sent away from her friends and family in 996 YK due to Kaius' deal to exchange the royal heirs, Brelish life has grown on Haydith. She is a regular at court, and is often seen in the presence of Boranel, so much so that many have joked that the king may very well appoint her as his heir. Haydith is charming, and both the nobility and the common folk of Breland love her.
Haydith is actually Kaius and Gaius' half-sister, born to the same mother but a different father. Her siblings father died almost a decade before Haydith was born, and their mother remarried a powerful Karrnathi warlord, resulting in her birth. Haydith's mother died during child birth, and her father was banished back to his estate by Regent Moranna after his designs on the throne of Karrnath were discovered. Moranna raised Haydith, and her half-siblings, like they were her own children.
