Dravago
- Dax' Athla buys components for teleportation circle while she's in Sharn, enough to cast the spell 3 times. She also buys the material components for Magic Circle.
- Warden gives Dax some money before they split up so she can buy him an Agate in the big city. He can use it for Awakening, or maybe even Planar Binding.
- Kal buys some diamonds for Revivify. A sunburst pendant for Dawn, and a silver mirror for Scrying.
- Lozaal reports to Senen Dhakaan in Rhukaan Draal, and updates her on everything that's happened since they last spoke.
- He then makes his way to Volaar Draal, to record his life so far for the archives, in case he dies soon. Whilst there, he acquires objects to gift to the other party members to signify him swearing them as his shava.
- On his way out of Darguun, Lozaal buys a tiger to ride back. Just like the Dhakaani cavalry of old.
- Leonus spends most of his time in Sharn in Grauwand. He gets those in Sharn (Dax, Kal, Leonus) together and has a meal at Slogar's.
- Warden spends some time at Avrahk Mbar'ost talking to the trees via Speak with Plants. He also uses Plant Growth to enrich the land and help New Cyre's food production.
- The trees are moisturised, unbothered, in their lane. Thriving.
- Dax receives a Sending from an unfamiliar voice. "It is time. Come to Flamekeep, the bell is ready, and so are you."
- Dax replies asking who this is, but doesn't get a response. Sus. She thinks this might be a trap. She asks Kal about it.
- Kal thinks maybe the Sender just got tired? Sending is hard.
- Dax mentions that very few people know about the Bell. Basically just her, Drego, and Jaela. So who was this?
- Dax goes to find Drego Sarhain. She's able to trace his movements throughout the city, visiting all of the temples to the Silver Flame. She catches him at the next temple he would visit.
- Dax explains the situation to Drego. He mentions that Sending requires familiarity, so it's someone who's met her, but is otherwise stumped. Laying a trap in Flamekeep is bold, though.
- Dax gets an update from Drego on his search for a replacement for Ythana Morr. He's identified several candidates, but hasn't approached any of them about it yet.
- Dax then goes to check on Faela, who is still down in Fallen caring for those rescued from the Cult of Vorlintar, the Fallen Angel.
Nymm
- They all return to Avrahk Mbar'ost.
- Lozaal introduces his new friend, the tiger Traark.
- Warden casts Speak with Animals and tries to talk to Traark. Traark ignores him completely, which is very emotionally distressing.
- Dax doesn't want Traark in the stables, she doesn't trust the tiger not to kill her horses. Lozaal assures her that Traark is well trained and won't hurt them. Dax changes tact, saying the horses will be stressed by the presence of a predator. Lozaal thinks the horses need to improve their fortitude.
- Traark will sleep in Lozaal's room.
- Lozaal goes to see Kyn to get supplies for the tiger. Kyn is very happy that there is a tiger around.
- At dinner, they all catch up. Terfel Glas, Ariana Glas and Llyr Glas arrived too.
- Dax tells everyone about her mysterious Sending, and expresses her concerns. She asks what they think she should do?
- Warden thinks a trap in Flamekeep would be a bad idea, so he's not sure it's a trap.
- Lozaal could see it being a trap, personally. He never got good vibes from some of the Speakers. He suggests that Dax should contact Jaela Daran and see if she knows anything.
- Kal agrees about contacting Jaela.
- Dax uses Sending to contact Jaela, as seen below.
- Dax informs the others of Jaela's response, and asks them to come with her to investigate.
- Obviously they all agree. They discuss details, but they lack required information before they can really plan. They discuss performing the exorcism at Avrahk Mbar'ost.
- Dax doesn't think they'll be in Flamekeep for long. Leonus mutters "oh thank goodness", and everyone jumps on it asking him to voice his concern. He claims he was just commenting on how good the food is!
- Lozaal mentions to each of them that he got them a gift, but they can't have them now.
- Dax casts Sending again to inform Jaela they'll be coming to Flamekeep in 2 days.
- Dax gives Warden the agate.
- Over the next 2 days, Lozaal gathers Dax, Kal and Warden together and asks them if they trust Leonus.
- Warden says "I dunno, I was getting there but then he muttered something under his breath at dinner and that was a bit sus."
- Dax says "He tends to maintain a facade of aloofness but he's not proven to not be a friend. He always puts Karrnath first."
- Lozaal agrees with their assessments. He then produces 3 metallic arm rings, etched with adamantine, and declares them his shava.
- Warden puts his hands to his cheeks and goes "aww"
- Lozaal asks him not to make it weird, please
- Warden says how can he not!? This is a big deal!
- Lozaal is now embarassed and just walks away. He then goes to find Leonus.
- Leonus is sunbathing in a soarleaf shirt and khaki shorts, with his helmet on (for obvious reasons). His chest, arms, and legs are very sunburnt. It's fine, he can lay on hands.
- Kyn is also sunbathing on the roof, next to Leonus.
- Lozaal, seeing this, feels vindicated in his new decision of not declaring Leonus his shava. He mentions he was gonna see if Leonus wanted to spar, but Leonus says he's resting up and enjoying the sun before he maybe dies.
- Lozaal leaves them to it.
- Kyn asks Leonus if he wants to jump off the wall and into the stream. Leonus, looking over the wall, realises they are on the wrong side of the fort to do that, and it's also a bit high. Kyn says fair enough and jumps off, and then disappears from sight.
- Leonus runs around the wall of the fort, and sees Kyn chilling under the waterfall.
- Weird.
- He considers jumping off the wall to get into the water too, but decides against it and goes back to his chair.
- When he gets back to his chair, Kyn is already back in his and casually mentions that time and space mean nothing to him.
- Leonus mentions Karrnath, and Kyn mentions that he's never been. He asks roughly what direction it's in. Leonus says north-east, and then Kyn vanishes.
- Leonus looks around awkwardly, and then packs up his stuff. That's enough sunbathing for today.
- Later that day, Daine asks if anyone's seen Kyn. He's not done the horses tonight. Leonus is like "who's that?"
- Warden insight checks him. Both of them use their inspiration, which means Warden wins.
- "Where is he, Leonus?" "What? I dunno, I didn't send him anywhere."
- Sus
- Leonus says that he was interested in Karrnath and asked what direction it was in. That's all! Then he vanished!
- Lozaal asks Leonus not to give the stableboy unplanned holidays. This confuses Leonus, why is someone who wields unfathomable cosmic power working as a stableboy?
- Lozaal says Kyn offers to do it, and surely it's up to him what's a waste of his power.
- Leonus is perplexed, how do you keep such a being in check??
- Indeed. Kyn steals, and is an agent of chaos! Leonus just unleashed him on Karrnath!
- Lozaal says their policy is to keep him in the dark at all times, if he doesn't know anything he can't do anything!
- Kal uses Sending to contact Kyn.
- Kyn's in Atur! Uh oh.
- Kyn tells people he's friends with a friend of the king, so put it on Leonus's tab! Who knows what kind of debt he'll wrack up.
- I'm sure all that will be fine.
- Dax uses teleportation circle, and teleports them all to Flamekeep.
- Dax goes straight to find Jaela, in the chamber with the pillar of silver fire. Leonus is super uncomfortable here.
- A young man splits off from the crowd and approaches Leonus. It's Gaius ir'Wynarn! Kaius' brother!
- Gaius asks Leonus to go for a walk with him, catch him up. In the mind link, Leonus quickly explains who this is, and that he wasn't planning to meet him here. Lozaal is sus.
- Dax has a quick conversation with Jaela. She hasn't heard anything, but tells Dax to be careful and good luck!
- The others wait for Leonus to return, then they can go find some accommodation.
Sendings
Dax to Jaela
Dax: "This is Dax, I have received a Sending from someone unknown asking me to come to Flamekeep, for the bell is ready. Trap? Thoughts?"
Jaela: "Oh, hello! I don't know anything about that. Someone has the bell, in Flamekeep? A trap is possible."
Later
Dax: "Please keep an eye out, but be careful. We will be coming to Flamekeep via teleportation circle in 2 days"
Jaela: "What are you expecting to happen?"
Dax: "I have no idea but I expect whoever contacted me will show themselves, friend or foe. I will come prepared"
Jaela: "What kind of support do you need? We can talk about it when you arrive."
Kal to Kyn
Kal: "Hi Kyn, it's Kal. Where are you bud? You okay?"
Kyn: "Oh hey Kal! Yeah I'm in Atur, it's kinda gloomy but boy these guys love life. It's so colourful, and loud, and bright, and loud-"
