Lat Horasca is the current owner of the The King of Fire, which he won in a game of cards. He's not a businessman, and he has no idea how to run an inn, but he thankfully married into House Ghallanda and his wife Kela d'Ghallanda is a natural at it. It's likely he would've run the tavern into the ground without her (or lost it in a game of cards himself). Prior to running the tavern, he was a Glidewing jockey for the Race of Eight Winds.
He is an incessant gambler, and only his wife keeps his gambling in check. He also has connections to the Boromar Clan.
