Newbloods

About

The Newbloods are the Races that emerged following The Conflux, a cataclysmic event that reshaped Enochia in profound and unpredictable ways.

Many of these races were initially viewed with suspicion, as they appeared alongside the devastation, leading some to see them as harbingers of doom.

The Newbloods' historyhas been one where they often found themselves living on the fringes of ancient civilizations, having to either carve out their own societies or integrate into the few civilized footholds held by the Ancients. This process of assimilation was neither easy nor universally welcomed, but the Newbloods’ resilience and adaptability allowed them to survive and slowly thrive.

Today

In the current age, the Newbloods have slowly integrated into the broader fabric of Enochian society.

There are few ‘pure’ Newblood societies, as most have assimilated into existing Ancient cultures that have accepted them. While they occupy specific niches in the world, many Newblood races are still seen as less stable or ‘other’ in the eyes of the Ancients. In the major cities, many Newbloods are found living in the margins, working in trade, craft, or as mercenaries, sometimes struggling to gain recognition outside of their communities.

Though the Newbloods have secured a place in Enochia, they still face prejudice and discrimination in certain regions, and their future remains uncertain as they strive to carve out their identities in a world still largely dominated by the Ancients.
