Daru

Daru has short clean cut brown hair. His face does not grow any facial fair, leaving his square jaw completely naked. His eyes are a beautiful hazel that sparkle in the sunlight. Daru, tends to wear a variety of different types of clothes. Occasionally he wears loose fitted shirts and pants, but on the occasion he will wear armors made out of leathers and leaves. He stands fairly tall at about 6 foot 2 with plenty of muscles of an athletic build.

Daru was a young human born into a tribe of druids. He was a self-absorbed egotistical being who thought highly of himself. He always was trying to win the hearts of the females. However, out of everyone in his tribe, he was the most in tune with nature. The animals were not afraid of him, the plants would grow for him, the winds sung to him.

Daru heard the call from beyond and was greeted by the Goddess Nylea. He became her chosen warrior and embarked on a journey at a young age to the feywild where he would meet Ari. When he returned, he had become the Great Earth Sage with incredible powers from her blessings. He was able to control the wills of nature.

As one of the first chosen from the Pantheon, Daru was tasked with bringing the others together. He came across the other sages that were chosen like him. Nia was one of his fellow sages who he had grown extremely close with. The two were the closest in age to one another and shared a lot of the same passions. However, there was also Mijure. Daru was often tasked with escorting her around as part of her training regiment for her god. Due to this, the two had grown decently close to one another.

When the time came, the sages were called upon to rise and fight in the first demon war. Daru, alongside the others were able to fight in a grueling battle. Eventually they saw a victory after working together to encase the Demon King, thus putting an end to the war. Daru, along with the other sages, were required to return to the site every so often and strengthen the seals of the prison they had created.

During one of the resealing events, Daru and the others had come to learn of Majore Highdale’s betrayal. The young sorcerer’s plan was backfired by his twin sister. Because of Mijure’s actions, a curse was put upon all the sages causing their disappearance. On that day, a large tree grew, and a forest bloomed north of Lochtale. It was believed that the spirit of Daru flows within the forest. Those from various tribes heard his call and came to form as one tribe.

Within the forest was a village of druids. Many of these druids came to the response of Daru’s whispers in the air after years had passed. An outside priestess by the name of Slandria, was recently placed as a leader of the small village that looked after the tree. She brought back outsiders she encountered at a festival back to the village after she was found injured. She learned that they were in search of Daru and believed he was within the forest. Slandria eventually brought them to the tree where the outsiders would find a way to break the curse.

Daru was now released from his tree prison and free once more with no memory of what had happened the night of the ritual ceremony. He welcomed the new world he was walking into with his same charismatic charm; however, he was stricken with anxieties. The realization that everything and everyone he cared about was gone was beginning to get to his head. He put on an act in front of most he encountered, but a select few knew the pain he felt inside.

Tabes and Mandolynne had two different approaches from one another as to how to get Daru to come with them to the Lochtale castle. Tabes was planning on poisoning him until he was unconscious, but Mandolynne wanted to try and talk him into doing it. In doing so, Tabes eventually learned that Daru was able to fight off any poison with ease and Mandolynne’s words were enough to convince him to go.

Daru was escorted by the group that rescued him and was introduced to Cherum, the advisor to the Queen of Lochtale. He was unfamiliar with the city as the place wasn’t around when he was. He was provided with his own chamber or, so it was believed.

Cherum had bound the still drained Daru to a stone and imprisoned him once more. He was reviving Daru’s magic using runic stones to later siphon. Majore, had successfully siphoned most of Daru’s magic. To keep him under his control, and to be able to use more of his magic, Majore forced the Mask of the Spider onto him along with a demonic possession. This corrupted Daru, mutating his body in the process and becoming the Spider General in the 2^nd Demon War.

Daru fell in battle and his body returned to normal under the mask.
