Overview
Capital city of the Guradam kingdom, the birth place of this young nation among the global stage. The capital and it's kingdom is currently ruled by king Dras Gura, the third of his name sake.
Geography
The city lies on the south coast of the kingdom straddling the Heart's Flow river. Where the river meets the Hourglass Sea it splits in two around Spearhead Isle, which is where the Gura Palace is built, a building that has a mighty presence across the city, only the The Woven Pillars to the north of it comes close to it's height and vantage point overlooking the city. It's high city walls protect several characterful districts within, and the city has grown rapidly over the last 144 years since its founding. Competing in population with some of the largest cities in both Dawnreach or Hestrounia, it has come to surprise many people of those nations who hear, or even witness this fact.
Government
The city is governed by a broad group of guild leaders appointed by the king, and is bureaucratic in nature. The day to day runnings of the city is carried out by this recognised and respected council known as Unknown. They act as advisors to the king when he attends council meetings, helping make decisions of key importance, though their own ambitions are often served too.
