Clues lead them to Greener's Hill where Mornington disguises himself as a gnome.
He questions a bar keep for information. They find that two people from this community have gone missing recently.
They visit the house of a young halfling girl that has gone missing.
They visit the house of foster parents to a gnome, who is being revealed to be the culprit.
It transpires that he has often daringly ventured into the abandoned iron mine to the south, This aligns with town rumours of people disappearing from the town travelling south.
