A key structure in the expansion of the kingdom under the rule of Vidak (the Bloody) Gura. It was built on a frontier that faced many foul creatures that emerged from the dark places in the earth.
The tower was once called West Watch but was renamed the Whistling Tower due to constant wind causing wails and whispers to echo through it. That, and the fact that it was no longer the most western part of the expanding kingdom. Many believe it's haunted by the intelligent monstrous races that were killed when claiming this land. The Servants of the Weave claim that there is no such thing to fear, but the tales told by men still spread across the nation to this day.
