The Elven Wilds are the semi-nomadic portion of the The Elven Kingdom, and in fact the vast bulk of The Elven Kingdom is the Elven Wilds, even though the name is a bit of a misnomer. They are considered 'wild' only in comparison to the Elven Cities. The Elven Wilds are more like farms or gardens who are tended by the families and the Forest Guides. Animals roam freely across the Elven Wilds, and so do many of the Elves who live in the Wilds. The Wild Elves who live there take all of their nourishment and shelter in the forest. While the High Elves consider them uncivilized, the truth is that most elven Subjects will be at some point of their life High Elves in the cities, and other points Wild Elves in the forest. It is more of a cultural and geographic separation.
